Preheat over to 400°F
Split the banguette in half lengthwise. Place directly on the oven rack. Bake for 10 minutes to toast.
In a small bowl, combine the oil, garlic, and Italian herb seasoning. Remove the bread from the oven and brush evenly with the garlic mixture. Return to the oven for 5 minutes.
Note : If a whole wheat French baguette is not available, a regular French baguette will work fine.
