This exercise is ideal for those suffering from excessive
gas in the stomach and intestinal tract. People with indigestion
and other abdominal ailments also find this very useful. Even
very old people and obese people find this exercise easy and
relief giving.
Lie down flat. Now take a long, deep breath and hold it. During
retention of the breath fold your right leg at the knee and
press the folded leg with the abdomen. Use both hands in order
to get the maximum pressure. Keep the left leg straight. Avoid
bending the left knee. Repeat this exercise three times with
each leg alternately. Now use both legs and press both the
knees against the abdomen, three times, as before.
